By this time you’ve registered. Now you have to keep records. I recommend you print one of each form for each student and keep in a binder. This will be your “Student Portfolio.”
HELPFUL FORMS FOR ALL YOUR RECORD KEEPING NEEDS
Attached are helpful forms for record keeping. These forms DO NOT need to be submitted to LHA. They are for your homeschool portfolio. I recommend keeping a few items of your child’s/children’s best school work like reports, worksheets, and tests in their portfolio as well.
You do not have to keep everything. One idea for someone who would like to keep everything (although NOT required) but has limited space is to take a picture of or scan each item, if you desire to do so, and then save it on an “external drive” of your computer.
Two styles of attendance recording. One is traditional and the other is a 180-day attendance check-off form (inserting date is optional).
Note: Field Trips & participation at a Homeschool Cooperative or Learning Community count as a day of school.

Variety of planner with required subjects and also hourly.

This will help you to determine which curriculum to use for each subject if you are not using an All-in-one curriculum. Having this form takes away the overwhelming feeling of which to choose. I can’t remember where I got this form but it works!

It’s important to keep all your records. Please ensure you turn in all your end of year grades through our online ACADEMIC REPORT FORMS. These are located on our website under the MEMBERS MENU page.
You may give a copy of these reports to the school you’re enrolling at. Most schools may want this information from us, which contradicts the law of parent’s keeping records, but you can simply email us directly with the school counselor’s email address and we can forward these to them.
